At Eagleton Farm we strive to breed the best American Saddlebreds. Our broodmare band consists of mares that come from the older more proven Five gaited foundation bloodlines-which we take and cross with some of the more refined five gaited Stallion sires to strengthen our stock without compromising the desired bone, stamina, motion, and gameness required to compete at the highest level. In 2017 we completely revamped and refocused our breeding program to concentrate on the five gaited American Saddlebred discipline, which has benefited our program tremendously. As a result of this shift in focus, we now have a couple of really nice prospects in training, and can’t wait to see how they continue to develop as show prospects. In 2020 we decided to bring in a stallion that would compliment our mares as well as add quality to our foals. Common’s Native Firestone is by El Dorado’s Stonewall Jackson x Native Charm. His first foal crop is due Spring of 2021.
